The Unicorn in the Garden by James Thurber
               The story was written by Mr. Thurber is an ambiguous story, because people can understand the man reaction in two ways. First, the man is not crazy because maybe the man want to get rid of his wife. In the story, she says “you are a booby and I’m going to have you put in the booby hatch”, so that makes the man feels like he get insulted by his own wife, and she didn’t respect her husband. Also, she called the police and the psychiatrist as soon as her husband went out. So that leaves the reader evidence’s that the woman is bad natured and tries to get rid of her husband, yet she is not friendly woman.

               On the other hand, people might think he is crazy person, because the unicorn is a mythical beast. Also, he may be taking drugs, so the drugs has effect on his mind and his thinking, so his brain created a false image of the unicorn. Another example that the man might be a crazy is, nobody believes that the unicorns are existed.
